Our beachside promenade is the No.1 attraction in the centre of historic Puerto Vallarta, and a short walk from Casa Bella Vista! It's a magical place to be, stretching about 11 blocks with free walking tours, artists, tequila tasting, souvenir shops & the famous Palo Volador by day and street musicians, vibrant bars, clubs & fireworks by night. The colours, the sounds, and aromas, all cast their spell and you can end up just walking around for hours snapping pics, enjoying many tasty flavours from breakfast to late dining or maybe a freshly squeezed juice, icy cold Corona or perhaps a slushy Margarita or two!
✝️ Cerro de La Cruz
It's a must do activity in Puerto Vallarta! Hike the steps & alleys up the mountain to “Mirador de la Cruz” A large cross and terrace sit atop the mountain, providing a panoramic view of the Bay of Banderas. This is one of the classic activities and one of the pathways up passes by Casa Bella Vista!

🥗 La Restaurante Escondia
Just a couple doors down from Casa Bella Vista is a little hidden gem. Macbeth runs her little restaurant out of her grandmother’s house. Mostly lunch but breakfast on the weekends. She grows tomatoes on her roof-top garden and chickens in her yard. Check her sign for details.
🥂 Cafe des Artistes
Several sleek dining spaces make up Café des Artistes; an original delightful bistro style restaurant a few short blocks from Casa Bella Vista. The most beautiful and romantic is the courtyard garden with modern sculpture. The main restaurant achieves a contemporary Casablanca feel with glass raindrops and tranquil music. End the night at the clubby cigar bar or Constantini Wine Bar, which offers some 50 vintages by the glass as well as distilled spirits, appetizers, and live music most nights of the week.

Really tasty tacos made by hand! Tacos al pastor, arrachera, chorizo, quesadillas too. Located near the church (and also at Plaza marina). If you want a real Mexican experience, good prices & great service, go here for a tasty dinner; just 8 minute walk from Casa Bella Vista guesthouse!

One of the best vegetarian restaurants that has been operating for over 22 years. Every day of the week is something special featured and open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We are so pleased they are just a few minutes from our Casa.
🥑 Calmate Cafe
Located on Honduras in 5th of December, about a 10-15 minute walk, but worth it! Their breakfast bowls and omelets are delicious and healthy, with a blended cappuccino is the perfect way to start the day!
🍤 Barcelona Tapas
Newly renovated in 2020 with fantastic sound system and ocean views. My recommendations is to start with Garlic potato salad, or Garlic mushrooms and then move on to the Seafood Fideua; Paella with shrimp, calamari, octopus. For the meat eaters, the braised short rib is so tender you can cut it with a fork. Located just a 5 Minute Uber or 8 minute walk from Casa Bella Vista. Featuring Live Music , Sunday Brunch, Paella Classes.

Fab bustling ambiance. Amazing food & drinks. Thirst quenching Mojitos, delicous ceviche & believe it or not, amazing Brussels sprouts. 15 minute walk or 8 minute Uber drive from Casa Bella Vista guesthouse.
🍹 Chez Elena’s El Nido
Atop a quintessential 1960’s hotel where Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and other Hollywood stars would meet. This roof top bar is the perfect place to watch the sunset.
🎨 Galleria Pacífico
Just down the bottom of our street, is a very special Art Gallery. Galleria Pacifico opened on November 27, 1987, based on the premise that Puerto Vallarta presents a unique window to the world to showcase Mexico's incredible artistic talent and heritage. Since then, the gallery has expanded featuring many incredible artists from Cuba, Spain, and beyond. Galería Pacífico sponsors the free Malecón Sculpture Tour that happens every Tuesday morning at 9:30 am from mid-November to mid-April.
